Amoryn — The Heartbloom Rainbow Dragon

In the warmest quarter of Mystmere, where the valley tilts south and wildflowers crowd the paths between the stones, there lives a dragon whose body carries the whole of a summer's colour. Amoryn does not choose a single hue. She wears the full arc of light — red into orange, gold into green, the deep blue-green of still water at her flanks — as though she has simply kept the best of every sunrise she has ever watched.

She is a dragon of joy, not the triumphant kind but the quiet, everyday kind. The small happinesses: a warm hand, a familiar smell, a moment held longer than expected. Her rose-scaled body is entirely soft — every surface is a bloom, petals layered over petals, as though she has grown rather than been built. The small feathered wings at her shoulders flutter rarely; she prefers to stay close.

Her most remarkable feature is her tail. It ends in a heart-shaped rose the colour of lavender, a deep and tender purple unlike anything on the rest of her body. The heart moves — it clicks, gently, when you press it. This is not an accident. Amoryn's tail is her gift to whoever finds her: something to hold when the hands need steadying, something to return to when the mind grows restless.

She appears most often in the company of growing things — moss, and garden blooms, and the kind of quiet that settles over a room when everyone in it is at ease. Those who encounter Amoryn rarely feel the need to explain themselves. They find, instead, that they have been seen.

Keeper's Oath

Take this heart in your hand when the day asks too much. Press it gently, and know that something beautiful was made without hurry, and given to you without condition.

I will keep the warmth of Mystmere's growing season, and carry it wherever you need it most.

From the workshops of Mystmere Forge, their story continues in your hands.
