Description

Otodus megalodon ruled the world's oceans for nearly 20 million years. Alive from the Early Miocene to the Early Pliocene (roughly 23 to 3.6 million years ago), it was an apex predator of extraordinary scale — estimated at up to 18 metres long, with teeth reaching 18 centimetres. Fossil teeth have been found on every continent except Antarctica, testament to how completely this animal dominated warm coastal seas across the globe. Its name says it plainly: from the Greek megas (large) and odon (tooth). Large tooth. That is what remains.

This articulated Megalodon skeleton was designed by Pinkywings and printed by Mystmere Forge in totem carving stone filament — a warm amber tone with rich dark brown layering that reads like weathered fossil bone. The model is approximately 20cm from snout to tail and fully articulated, with all joints moving freely. The jaw hinges open to reveal the full tooth array — one of the most recognisable silhouettes in natural history.

Part of the Bone Forge collection — prehistoric skeletons finished by hand in Essex, UK. Each piece ships with a printed fact sheet.
