Spinosaurus skeleton model details
- Approximately 20cm long
- Fully articulated body with freely moving joints
- Distinctive sail, long skull and paddle-shaped tail
- 3D printed and hand-finished in Essex, UK
- Includes a printed Spinosaurus fact sheet
This is a made-to-order articulated display model, not a real fossil. The totem carving stone filament combines warm stone colour with light and dark brown patterning for an aged-bone appearance.
The included fact sheet makes this articulated model useful as an educational display for a home-learning space, classroom shelf or dinosaur collection. It is a decorative model, not a scientific teaching replica or real fossil.
Spinosaurus aegyptiacus lived during the Late Cretaceous, between about 100 and 94 million years ago, in what is now North Africa. Its long crocodile-like skull, tall neural-spine sail and deep tail made it unlike any other known dinosaur. Estimates place it among the largest carnivorous dinosaurs yet described, although its full anatomy remains debated.
Designed by Pinkywings and produced by Mystmere Forge as part of the Bone Forge collection. Spinosaurus is also included with Ankylosaurus and Megalodon in the Bone Forge Collector Starter Set.
